Attendance

At St Joseph's, we understand the importance of school attendance and the significant impact this has on a child's academic, social, mental and emotional progress.

We always encourage our children to be in school, whenever possible.

Our Ofsted inspection report (Jan, 2025) noted:

"The school tracks how well pupils attend school. It communicates to parents and pupils the importance of coming to school. When needed, the school works with families to provide support and help. As a result, pupils attend school well."

We do not authorise term-time holidays, and ask that families schedule medical appointments outside of school hours, where possible.
